Delmiro Frechoso came out of the goal and Genaro Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernan Balesio was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Dalmacio Fix capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalmacio Fix really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Simon Rufio charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Rufio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Caldao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Rufio. Fernan Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Sixto Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Genaro Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caldao AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Salomone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmiro Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's Cayetano Toribio got a free kick in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Bonifaco in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmiro Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Bonifaco in the 28th minute of play forced SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's goalkeeper Delmiro Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Bonifaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Sixto Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Caldao AFC's protests and gave Saul Manilan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caldao AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Saul Manilan hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Dalmacio Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Fix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With a little luck, SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's Delmiro Frechoso got control of the ball when Sixto Bonifaco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Caldao AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN were awarded a corner. Delmiro Frechoso had great luck who in the 73rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Sixto Bonifaco from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Caldao AFC's Fernan Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Hitz in the 85th minute of play. If Genaro Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
