Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Segundo Eduino made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Segundo Eduino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Cordarius's late challenge caught a Deportivo Merlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Cordarius helped the player get up and apologised. Cristobal Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cristo Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Cordarius kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Cristo Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Dacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Julian Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Segundo Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Roque Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Segundo Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Julian Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Sindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Dacio's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Cristo Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Dacio in the 36th minute of play. Segundo Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Joaquin Bazil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Merlo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tusquitas FC the free kick. A collision led to Deportivo Merlo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Joaquin Bazil hit a great ball. Julian Ferman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Segundo Eduino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segundo Eduino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Valerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 49th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 55th minute, Julian Ferman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristo Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Txartiko in the 58th minute of the match. Guaberto Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. When Gaspar Txartiko fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Merlo's protests and gave Gaspar Txartiko a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Merlo's Gaspar Txartiko got a free kick in the 64th minute. Cristo Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tusquitas FC's Martin Cordarius got a free kick in the 80th minute. A hard shot by Jose Mede from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Cristo Sindo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gaspar Txartiko might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristo Sindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Txartiko ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Txartiko in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Sindo saved Tusquitas FC from getting behind. If Julian Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Lando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roque Valerio having to make a save. If Julian Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Cristo Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tusquitas FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
