The supporters of SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN booed when Cauchicol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Feliu got free with Delmiro Frechoso in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, Ivan Indalecio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Delmiro Frechoso. Ivan Indalecio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Candido Martinez hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roque Hitz in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Pio saved Cauchicol from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN DE SAN JUAN's Roque Hitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Pio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
