Segundo Eduino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Roque Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Gaspar Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Merlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Txartiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Sindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Merlo. In the 30th minute Gaspar Txartiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Gaspar Txartiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Merlo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tusquitas FC the free kick. Gaspar Txartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Eduino in the 44th minute of play forced Deportivo Merlo's goalkeeper Roque Valerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

But to his dismay, Julian Ferman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, Tusquitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Txartiko came free, but Cristo Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Deportivo Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Eduino came free, but Roque Valerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
