Deportivo Merlo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LEPRA12 the free kick. In the 15th minute, Anacleto Eudoxio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When LEPRA12's Basilio Quico in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tadeo Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Txartiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Basilio Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Roque Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Quico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Valerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. LEPRA12's Basilio Quico got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Basilio Quico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEPRA12's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Quico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cleto Obano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. LEPRA12's Tadeo Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Eudoxio in the 44th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Basilio Quico put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roque Valerio. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gaspar Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Arotza having to interfere. Dario Bernaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Dario Bernaldo made a precise shot to the right of Roque Valerio. Deportivo Merlo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Anacleto Eudoxio got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Deportivo Merlo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Basilio Quico scored to the left of an out of position Roque Valerio, making the score, 0-4. Gaspar Txartiko charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Txartiko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LEPRA12 booed when Deportivo Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Basilio Quico sped through Deportivo Merlo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roque Valerio. Basilio Quico's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Roque Valerio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Basilio Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Valerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Quico in the 98th minute. LEPRA12's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
