Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) In the 4th minute Atilano Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Mantzio. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Salto booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Haroldo Heriberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmitas's Rodolfo Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Baristo in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Piorno to maneuver through the defense. Palmitas made a substitution. Serafino Cordaro replaced Santos Marz. After a rather tough play, Salto's Isidoro Mercurio got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Haroldo Heriberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Inocencio Poncio could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Haroldo Heriberto however easily saved by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Palmitas's Serafin Gumaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haroldo Heriberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Atilano Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Demesio having to interfere. Haroldo Heriberto made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Inocencio Poncio sent off a good shot on target. Maximino Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Salto's Haroldo Heriberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Txerran in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Patricio Mantzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Baristo in the 90th minute of the match. Rodolfo Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Salto were the better team. Salto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
