If Gaspar Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Rodas having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Gaspar Txartiko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Querusa Futbol Club's Evaristo Rodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Deportivo Merlo booed when De Querusa Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Santxol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Txartiko scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Rodas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bartolo Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roque Valerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Eudoxio's late challenge caught a De Querusa Futbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Eudoxio helped the player get up and apologised. Anacleto Eudoxio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Deportivo Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Quexal to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes De Querusa Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Santxol. Deportivo Merlo's Gaspar Txartiko managed to work through De Querusa Futbol Club's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gaspar Txartiko dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Bartolo Ado came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the De Querusa Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Ado couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, De Querusa Futbol Club's Casimiro Santxol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Valerio. Roque Valerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Txartiko was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Cristobal Dacio made a precise shot to the right of Evaristo Rodas. De Querusa Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The long shot by Dante Leizarraga in the 59th minute really tested Evaristo Rodas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gaspar Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Evaristo Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in De Querusa Futbol Club's zone, Cristobal Dacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Rodas came out of the goal and Cristobal Dacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute Bartolo Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Valerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Rodas having to interfere. Roque Valerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Bartolo Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Querusa Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Ado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roque Valerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Ortzi scored 4-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roque Valerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute Anacleto Eudoxio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 87 minutes into the game, Primitivo Mino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Querusa Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Merlo the free kick. The audience was convinced that Bartolo Ado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Valerio was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Querusa Futbol Club fully deserved thier win.
