Modesto Laurgain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marciano Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cauchicol's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulino Txerran 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 12th match minute, Cauchicol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Orzaize to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Indalecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulino Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Indalecio in the 21st minute of the match. Serafin Gumaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marciano Pio made a huge save. Rodolfo Demesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Indalecio came free, but Rodolfo Demesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Gabriel Procopio in the 32nd minute really tested Marciano Pio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 34th minute Candido Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cauchicol booed when Palmitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cauchicol's zone, Serafin Gumaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Pio came out of the goal and Serafin Gumaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Orzaize made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Palmitas's Marcelino Txaran. In the 44th minute, Palmitas's Paulino Txerran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marciano Pio. Marciano Pio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Txerran made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Modesto Laurgain shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Pio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Paulino Txerran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes, Palmitas's Alonzo Lluterio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Pio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmitas reached it. Marciano Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Txerran in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, Cauchicol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Martinez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Gumaro in the 72nd minute of play forced Cauchicol's goalkeeper Marciano Pio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Txerran, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Serafin Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute of the match Palmitas got a corner. Cauchicol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serafin Gumaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Palmitas's Serafin Gumaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marciano Pio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute, Serafin Gumaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cauchicol's zone, Paulino Txerran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Pio came out of the goal and Paulino Txerran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute of the match Gabriel Procopio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Pio skillfully saved the ball. Paulino Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes, Palmitas's Gabriel Procopio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Pio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmitas reached it. Palmitas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
