Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eriberto Rey started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Oscar Botello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcos Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Eloy Sarracino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrado Emenon. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Panpili during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Marcos Panpili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 20 in the game by Eloy Sarracino from a close distance when the talented Conrado Emenon managed to make a qualified save. Majadita AFC's players were relieved. Eriberto Rey charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Rey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eriberto Rey hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Ovidio Emeterio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Emenon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 40 minutes into the game, Club Mercedes Corrientes's Ovidio Emeterio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Emenon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Club Mercedes Corrientes's Oscar Botello got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Sarracino made a kick off. Ovidio Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Emenon having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Sarracino in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Emenon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Viator during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Marcos Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Botello might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conrado Emenon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Botello ran back to his position shaking his head. If Eriberto Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Club Mercedes Corrientes's Leopoldo Romo got control of the ball when Mario Etxepare tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Emenon came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Mercedes Corrientes's Ovidio Emeterio. But to his dismay, Ovidio Emeterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some careless play in the Majadita AFC defense, Marcos Panpili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Emenon. The Majadita AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Emenon should have stopped the shot. Oscar Botello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Ovidio Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Romo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Mario Etxepare sent off a good shot on target. Atilano Koldo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
