In the 23rdth minute of the game Agustin Francis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espirillos's Ruperto Tebaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustin Francis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Tebaldo having to interfere. Armando Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Juan Nalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espirillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pelmazo FC the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Pelmazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Montrell to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Tebaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 48th minute Isaac Baleren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Evangelista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Francis was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustin Francis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruperto Tebaldo. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Agustin Francis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Tebaldo having to make a save. Agustin Francis got in the 59th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ruperto Tebaldo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Isaac Baleren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Sanduru in the 71st minute of play forced Pelmazo FC's goalkeeper Isaias Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Garikoitz hit a great ball. 86 minutes in the game, Agustin Francis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ruperto Tebaldo having to interfere. David Eutor charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Eutor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Pelmazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eutor to maneuver through the defense. Pelmazo FC's Agustin Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Sanduru in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Pelmazo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Sanduru came free, but Isaias Evangelista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Loren's late challenge caught a Espirillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Loren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Pelmazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Loren to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 98 minutes, Dalmacio Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espirillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pelmazo FC played a much better game than Espirillos and deserved their victory. The Espirillos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
