The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Mitxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th match minute, Calabreses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Paz to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Nicholas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lino Llorian came out and tried to block the shot, but Anibal Nicholas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute, Calabreses's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anibal Nicholas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Horacio Mitxel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Lino Llorian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lino Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Mitxaut in the 18th minute of play. Alejo Abilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Nuno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Urbez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Tipi to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Urbez struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Alejo Abilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calabreses. 31 minutes into the match, Barrancas's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Urbez came free, but Alejo Abilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Nicholas in the 37th minute of play. If Anibal Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Nuno to make the kick off. Anibal Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Mitxel in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Llorian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 58 minutes, Anibal Nicholas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrancas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Nicholas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Anibal Nicholas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrancas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Adan Chorache hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Anibal Nicholas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lino Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Artemio Rocendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calabreses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancas the free kick. A collision led to Calabreses getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Artemio Rocendo hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Anibal Nicholas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lino Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Anibal Nicholas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Llorian. Calabreses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anibal Nicholas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Horacio Mitxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Llorian came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrancas's Augusto Mitxaut. But to his dismay, Augusto Mitxaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0.
