After 16 played minutes Chakales FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Baldovino. Devil Boys FC's Edgard Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Baldovino in the 20th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Devil Boys FC's Niceto Lander tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gavino Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Stephen having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Veronica during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Bonifacio Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Chakales FC defense, Gavino Bernaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Stephen. The Chakales FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Stephen should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Melquiades Herena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaias Stephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 46 minutes into the game, Melquiades Herena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devil Boys FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chakales FC the free kick. Melquiades Herena hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute of the match Chakales FC got a corner. Devil Boys FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isidro Naelio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Baldomiro Arias thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Edgard Tonete, a very annoying self made goal in the 49th minute which led to 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudio Paz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chakales FC's Efrain Bazkoare got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Urritz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Danilo Gonchan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Stephen having to interfere. Gavino Bernaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Stephen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Bernaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaias Stephen was a little too slow when Gavino Bernaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-3. Danilo Gonchan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Isaias Stephen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Devil Boys FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Melquiades Herena hit a great ball. Gavino Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th match minute, Chakales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Gonchan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 88 played minutes Chakales FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Baldovino. If Danilo Gonchan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
