Extasis Fobal Clú's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 36th minute, Justino Ereinotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Ereinotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardino Esquipula to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Esquipula couldn't finish the play. Newpi's Bernardino Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Javier Isadore might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Ortle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Isadore ran back to his position shaking his head.
