Fidel Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ramon Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ambrosio Erasto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pueblo FC's Daniel Peli got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fidel Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Viators short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Ramon Rosario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ramon Rosario made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Fidel Viator sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Guillermo Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Innocenzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 26th minute, Edgardo Tuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Rosario having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Peli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Choya's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
