The corner was taken by Santo Ted in the 21st minute. Ciénega FC's Santo Ted was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julian Che in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florentino Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jacinto Bartoleme hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Julian Che took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarragona FC's Julian Che played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Ted in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Mercurio during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isaias Mercurio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Santo Ted received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Julian Che tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Santo Ted made the kick off in the second half. Donato Arnalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Eneas in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tarragona FC's zone, Evaristo Birila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Che came out of the goal and Evaristo Birila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes Tarragona FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Torres. With a little luck, Tarragona FC's Julian Che got control of the ball when Celedonio Gergori tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santo Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Che having to interfere. Santo Ted succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 80th playminute. If Evaristo Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Che having to interfere. Justino Ferman's late challenge caught a Ciénega FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Ferman helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Che went to the wrong direction when Santo Ted was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 93rd minute, Jacinto Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Baumar scored 1-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Arnalt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciénega FC played a much better game than Tarragona FC and deserved their victory. The Tarragona FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
