Anier Turi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Viva Peron getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Albino Sidro hit a great ball. Viva Peron's Luisito Bide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Viva Peron from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Viva Peron's zone, Anier Turi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Bide came out of the goal and Anier Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Barrancas FC's Paolo Senio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ivan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Sidro in the 35th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barrancas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Viva Peron a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgardo Kiliz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barrancas FC's Ivan Semeno. 0-2. Anier Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Luisito Bide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Paolo Senio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrancas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viva Peron the free kick. Paolo Senio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Edgardo Kiliz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Semeno. Barrancas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albino Sidro scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Semeno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anier Turi was the one to do the kick off. Albino Sidro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Semeno firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luisito Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Hats in the 60th minute of play. Jorge Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Feliberto Gelacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Anier Turi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Patxi in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Anier Turi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrancas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 88th minute, Paolo Senio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Semeno was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edgardo Kiliz. Paolo Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viva Peron's Luisito Bide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Turi in the 93rd minute of play. The Barrancas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Viva Peron's performance. The match ended with a win for Viva Peron.
