Mauro Tuste came out of the goal and Esteve Maldonado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Fernando Lore took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mauro Tuste to make any attempt to save it. Fernando Lore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mauro Tuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Mikeldi's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Mikeldi helped the player get up and apologised. Fernando Lore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Mauro Tuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leones FC's Mauro Tuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lore in the 39th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Mauro Tuste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Carlomagno. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jairo Jago made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Inocencio Carlomagno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cóndores FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pablo Gabon hit a great ball. During the 59th minute of the match Ramiro Mikeldi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ramiro Mikeldi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Cóndores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Mikeldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Clodio. Leones FC's Mauro Tuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Carlomagno in the 62nd minute of play. Albano Erruki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ciro Silvino made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Carlomagno in the 73rd minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Mauro Tuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jairo Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Cóndores FC. Esteve Maldonado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mauro Tuste. 3-0. Mauro Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Carlomagno in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Mauro Tuste, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Inocencio Carlomagno might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Tuste. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inocencio Carlomagno ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Silvino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Erruki in the 94th minute. Fernando Lore's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Lore helped the player get up and apologised. There was no doubt that Cóndores FC were the better team. Cóndores FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
