In the 16th match minute, Deportivo Wilde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HDP. 37 minutes into the match, HDP's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Ritchie came free, but Jose Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, HDP's Jorge Precioso got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ubaldo Casomiro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Casomiro to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Nicolas Dubardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Wilde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HDP the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Nicolas Dubardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 54 minutes, Ubaldo Casomiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HDP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Casomiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in HDP's zone, Eustacio Ospin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Nicholas came out of the goal and Eustacio Ospin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Deportivo Wilde's Eustacio Ospin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eustacio Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of HDP booed when Deportivo Wilde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Jurdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Silvino having to interfere. Eustacio Ospin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Nicholas having to make a save. Cecilio Silvino made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Ubaldo Casomiro sent off a good shot on target. If Eustacio Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HDP's Robustiano Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustacio Ospin scored 1-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Nicholas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
