Pirates's Aureliano Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pirates from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Pirates's Alvaro Vergaray got a free kick in the 15th minute. Aureliano Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Obeko in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Carlos Sein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Errando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Sein, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carlos Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ciro Errando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Cordaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Barea in the 36th minute. Clodoveo Bareas short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Aureliano Cordaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eriberto Obeko made the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute, Clodoveo Barea made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Cordaro. Pirates's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 81st minute, Justino Laffitte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chusca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Justino Laffitte struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Aureliano Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chusca. In the 92ndth minute of the game Clodoveo Barea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirates's Aureliano Cordaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chusca walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
