Spectators: 6790 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cipriano Dantel started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Fabril FC's Raimundo Maureo got control of the ball when Haroldo Ekialde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benicio Balendin spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Fabril FC's goal. Clodoveo Nahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Maidana in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Fabril FC booed when RIBER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Gutxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Chabier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clodoveo Nahia having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Chabier in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clodoveo Nahia saved RIBER PLATE from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Anier Gutxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Chabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clodoveo Nahia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Chabier ran back to his position shaking his head. Gregorio Maidana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Nahia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Serafin Sabino kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. RIBER PLATE's Clodoveo Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Maidana in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Chabier in the 34th minute of play forced RIBER PLATE's goalkeeper Clodoveo Nahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Maidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Clodoveo Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregorio Maidana to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Celestino Ted notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fabril FC's Raimundo Maureo. Raimundo Maureo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, RIBER PLATE's Cipriano Dantel made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Maureo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, RIBER PLATE's Anastasio Banegas got a free kick in the 66th minute. Maximiliano Chabier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Clodoveo Nahia firmly grabbed it by the left post. 69 minutes into the match, Fabril FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Ekialde came free, but Raimundo Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Cipriano Dantel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Maureo was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Maximiliano Chabier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gregorio Maidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabril FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Maidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Nahia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute Gregorio Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabril FC's Nicasio Celipe got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gregorio Maidana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Celipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Nahia having to interfere.
