Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) RIBER PLATE's Cipriano Dantel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ubaldo Oroitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Paulo Marino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clodoveo Nahia came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cintura Cósmica FC's Urbano Lehen. But to his dismay, Urbano Lehen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, RIBER PLATE's Benicio Balendin got a free kick in the 19th minute. 26 minutes into the match, RIBER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Lehen came free, but Clodoveo Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubaldo Argider kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Rodrigo Venceslas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Ekialde, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Cipriano Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rodrigo Venceslas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urbano Lehen was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Cintura Cósmica FC's Rodrigo Venceslas got control of the ball when Cipriano Dantel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, RIBER PLATE's Cipriano Dantel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. RIBER PLATE's Clodoveo Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Salvadore in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Urbano Lehen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Nahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes, Cintura Cósmica FC's Serafino Valiente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clodoveo Nahia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cintura Cósmica FC reached it. Bonifacio Salvadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to RIBER PLATE getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Serafin Sabino hit a great ball. In the 77th minute of the match Cintura Cósmica FC got a corner. RIBER PLATE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ubaldo Argider ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ubaldo Argider made a great header on Cintura Cósmica FC's corner, it was just that RIBER PLATE's Clodoveo Nahia managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 82nd minute, Bonifacio Salvadore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Nahia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Urbano Lehen came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cintura Cósmica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Lehen couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in RIBER PLATE's zone, Lucio Kusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Nahia came out of the goal and Lucio Kusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bonifacio Salvadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. RIBER PLATE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
