After 13 minutes, Filomeno Ritchie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asterisco Cósmico and the Cocucha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Asterisco Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Ritchie. Celso Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Igor Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Igor Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Medardo in the 21st minute of the match. When Hugo Llorienzo fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 24th minute, Filomeno Ritchie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dante Argoitz fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cocucha FC's protests and gave Dante Argoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Dante Argoitz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Simon Diegotxe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaudencio Oriche skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Celso Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cocucha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Salvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Egoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cocucha FC's Elias Egoitz in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Asterisco Cósmico's goalie prevented a goal. Igor Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Egoitz in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Salvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Igor Salvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asterisco Cósmico's goalkeeper Igor Salvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Cocucha FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Egoitz to make the kick off. Cesar Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Celso Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elias Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cocucha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Egoitz couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Celso Medardo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hugo Llorienzo was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 74 played minutes Asterisco Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Llorienzo. In the 74th minute, Elias Egoitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Igor Salvino. The goal made the score 0-2. Celso Medardo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Igor Salvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocucha FC. Elias Egoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Medardo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Salvino. Igor Salvino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Igor Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Egoitz in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Asterisco Cósmico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Viviano to maneuver through the defense. Cocucha FC played a much better game than Asterisco Cósmico and deserved their victory. The Asterisco Cósmico players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
