Celestino Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Iraitz in the 8th minute of play. If Gualterio Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celestino Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Iraitz in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cobo's Celestino Perrando got control of the ball when Gualterio Markel tried to sneak it across the goal line. MAGO DE OZ's Ildefonso Oroitz suffered a sore thigh after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Eliseo Huly's late challenge caught a MAGO DE OZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Huly helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Cobo got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Huly. If Gualterio Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Huly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo Lando having to make a save. Amadeo Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Porfirio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Porfirio struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Amadeo Lando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cobo. Amadeo Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Daniel Iraitz's late challenge caught a Cobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Iraitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, MAGO DE OZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Iraitz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Porfirio in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Lando saved MAGO DE OZ from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristo Porfirio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in MAGO DE OZ's zone, Paulo Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Lando came out of the goal and Paulo Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Perrando having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Markel in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Perrando saved Cobo from getting behind. Celestino Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Markel in the 64th minute of the match. If Cristo Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Esiquio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, MAGO DE OZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Senen to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. When Cristo Porfirio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cobo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Porfirio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, MAGO DE OZ's Everardo Argina got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cobo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
