Vladimiro Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Baristo having to interfere. Gavino Baristo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Lixandro in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Alejandro Txanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Gavino Baristo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th play minute Vladimiro Lixandro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gavino Baristo. 1-0. If Uriel Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimiro Lixandro made a kick off. If Uriel Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Humberto Sein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leonardo Lizardi fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BUTTELER MANDA's protests and gave Leonardo Lizardi a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Lixandro in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Baristo saved Gorina from getting behind. Gavino Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Ebardo in the 91st minute of play. Gavino Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
