The referee ignored Matadordeloeste's protests and gave Hilario Inguma a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Matadordeloeste got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Inguma. Uriel Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Albano Bazkoare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Jobo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The goalkeeper, Albano Bazkoare, was totally fooled by Gorina's Arnaldo Quilo, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bernardino Bazkoare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Bazkoare in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Baristo saved Gorina from getting behind. Fabricio Stephen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavino Baristo having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Gaskon was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Stephen in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Baristo saved Gorina from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Fabricio Stephen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gavino Baristo, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardino Bazkoare got free with Gavino Baristo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bernardino Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabricio Stephen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gavino Baristo. That made the score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Gorina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Salvator to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fabricio Stephen came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Matadordeloeste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Stephen couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes in the game, Bernardino Bazkoare fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gavino Baristo having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Oscar Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 88th minute, Bernardino Bazkoare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Donato Salvator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Stephen kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Matadordeloeste failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
