After 22 minutes of play, Abril FC's Tomás Dantel made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Arias in the 28th minute of play forced Abril FC's goalkeeper Prospero Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Abril FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Sal to maneuver through the defense.
