Spectators: 7042 (Terracing: 5390, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Cresencio kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Victor Sugoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidio Estevon. The goal made the score 1-0. Ovidio Estevon made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Leopoldo Calixto sent off a good shot on target. Andres Steven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Manuel Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ovidio Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Leopoldo Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canquel AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Calixto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Estevon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Canquel AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Leo Benat hit a great ball. Manuel Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Raymon having to interfere. Ovidio Estevon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Calixto in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Cresencio in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Raymon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leo Benat might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Estevon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Benat ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Chelco AFC's Julio Llorenc got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chelco AFC's zone, Leopoldo Calixto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Estevon came out of the goal and Leopoldo Calixto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 minutes, Victor Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canquel AFC and the Chelco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victor Sugoi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Andres Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Benat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Calixto in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Mendebal hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Leo Benat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ovidio Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Steven did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Francisco Raymon 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Chelco AFC's Lino Mendebal got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chelco AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romulo Geleberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Canquel AFC's players had a chance to rest. 2-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Leo Benat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marcos Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Marcos Urbes came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Chelco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Urbes couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Canquel AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chelco AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
