The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Córdoba United FC booed when Club Social Chaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Tanio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Francisco Tanio made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Rodolfo Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. If Narciso Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Marciano Haritzeder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Etxekopar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Silvestre Etxekopar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Haritzeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Marciano Haritzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Córdoba United FC's zone, Marciano Haritzeder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Etxekopar came out of the goal and Marciano Haritzeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes Córdoba United FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Delmiro Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Delmiro Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvestre Etxekopar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 40 minutes into the match, Club Social Chaca's Narciso Tartalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Etxekopar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Club Social Chaca got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Tartalo. After the first half Club Social Chaca were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Tartalo was the one to do the kick off. When Marciano Haritzeder came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Club Social Chaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Haritzeder couldn't finish the play. Córdoba United FC's Silvestre Etxekopar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Córdoba United FC from getting a goal against them. Silvestre Etxekopar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Haritzeder in the 55th minute. Celedonio Napier hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Narciso Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Etxekopar having to interfere. Narciso Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Silvestre Etxekopar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Iker Calixto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvestre Etxekopar. That made the score 1-3 in the 64 minute of play. Guaberto Pierres hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Marciano Haritzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Etxekopar having to interfere. Francisco Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato James, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Club Social Chaca's Delmiro Azevedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Celedonio Napier hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Delmiro Azevedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Córdoba United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Quirze to maneuver through the defense. If Narciso Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Narciso Tartalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Social Chaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Tartalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Etxekopar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Haritzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Social Chaca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
