Francisco Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Cresencio in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match, Andres Steven got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francisco Raymon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leo Benat in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Estevon saved Chelco AFC from getting behind. In the 8th match minute, Chelco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Seme to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Raymon having to interfere. Leo Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Totakoxe's late challenge caught a Chelco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Totakoxe helped the player get up and apologised. Manuel Cresencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Raymon having to interfere. Ovidio Estevon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Benat went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Canquel AFC's Victor Sugoi got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Andres Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Manuel Cresencio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francisco Raymon. Manuel Cresencio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Andres Steven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Francisco Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Ernesto Gipuzkoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canquel AFC and the Chelco AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Canquel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cresencio in the 48th minute of play forced Canquel AFC's goalkeeper Francisco Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Manuel Cresencio made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Manuel Cresencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Cresencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Canquel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Sugoi to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes in the game, Leo Benat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ovidio Estevon having to interfere. Ovidio Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Steven in the 68th minute of the match. Leo Benat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chelco AFC's Andres Steven got a free kick in the 74th minute. Leopoldo Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ovidio Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canquel AFC's Francisco Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Cresencio in the 79th minute of play. In the 87th minute Manuel Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Canquel AFC defense, Andres Steven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Raymon. The Canquel AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Raymon should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Chelco AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Enrique Grabiel hit a great ball. Leopoldo Calixto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Estevon having to make a save. Canquel AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
