Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ismael Tartalo kicked off to start the match. Antonio Ignatius hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes, Martinchosone's Guillermo Vimaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Suero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Martinchosone reached it. After a rather tough play, Esmeralda's Prospero Markel got a free kick in the 8th minute. Virgilio Rozarius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Suero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Esmeralda got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ignatius. If Gaudencio Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Firmin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Suero having to make a save. Ovidio Phelipe hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Ramiro Firmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esmeralda's Ismael Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Martinchosone's zone, Gaudencio Ugutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Raulo came out of the goal and Gaudencio Ugutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Rozarius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Esmeralda's Jeremias Vedillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robustiano Raulo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esmeralda reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Rozarius in the 56th minute of play forced Esmeralda's goalkeeper Francisco Suero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Raulo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Virgilio Rozarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esmeralda! A collision led to Martinchosone getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ramiro Firmin hit a great ball. If Virgilio Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Ugutz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esmeralda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martinchosone the free kick. The supporters of Martinchosone booed when Esmeralda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Ugutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramiro Firmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Francisco Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Tartalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robustiano Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Tartalo ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Ramiro Firmin could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Francisco Suero however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Virgilio Rozarius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Suero. That made the score 0-2 in the 92 minute of play. With a little luck, Esmeralda's Francisco Suero got control of the ball when Ramiro Firmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 98 played minutes Esmeralda got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ignatius. When Ramiro Firmin came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Martinchosone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Firmin couldn't finish the play.
