Marcelo Astigar hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jacinto Haitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Ramirez having to interfere. Jacinto Haitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Ramirez made a huge save. Usno were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after La banda del Matadero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Astigar took the corner. In the 27th minute, La banda del Matadero's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacinto Haitz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rogelio Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. La banda del Matadero's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Eliazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Raphael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albino Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Raymond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Raphael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Igor Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La banda del Matadero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Gai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rogelio Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Rogelio Eliazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Raphael. Usno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Eliazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56thth minute of the game Jacinto Haitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La banda del Matadero's Ubaldo Ramirez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th match minute, La banda del Matadero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Gai to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Haitz in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Ramirez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Astigar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ubaldo Ramirez having to make a save. If Lucas Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Basualdo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Ramirez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Usno's Robustiano Basualdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ubaldo Ramirez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 83rd minute, Jacinto Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogelio Eliazar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Albino Raphael made a huge save. Aaron Senin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. La banda del Matadero's Roque Liberto was substituted for Rogelio Eliazar. A collision led to La banda del Matadero getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aaron Senin hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Roque Liberto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La banda del Matadero eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
