Thanks to some nice moves Julian Peruanton could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Elpidio Gaxan however easily saved by the left post. Despiertos.F.C's Salvador Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Cutberto in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Serafin Bernabel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Paraná's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Bernabel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Julian Peruanton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Gaxan was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Fernando Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Club Atlético Paraná got a freekick which was hit by Joel Pagomari. After 36 played minutes Despiertos.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Elequemedo. If Fernando Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Gaxan made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Fernando Elequemedo sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Paraná's zone, Fernando Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Gaxan came out of the goal and Fernando Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Gaxan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Nestor Charro fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Paraná's protests and gave Nestor Charro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Fernando Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Cutberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Salvador Llorienzo made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Edgardo Silviano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Gaxan. Club Atlético Paraná's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Silviano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. During the 81st minute of the match Nestor Charro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nestor Charro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Elpidio Gaxan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sixto Cutberto hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Despiertos.F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
