Fernando Elequemedo took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Oriol. Fidel Oriol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Despiertos.F.C were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Club Deportivo Titan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Elequemedo took the corner. Julian Peruanton was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Titan defense, Edgardo Silviano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Oriol. The Club Deportivo Titan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Oriol should have stopped the shot. Maximino Iigo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Edgardo Silviano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despiertos.F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Silviano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Oriol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Despiertos.F.C's Fernando Elequemedo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Deportivo Titan's goalie prevented a goal. If Hilario Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Peruanton in the 21st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Titan's goalkeeper Fidel Oriol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Titan defense, Fernando Elequemedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Oriol. The Club Deportivo Titan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Oriol should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Club Deportivo Titan's Salvador Llorienzo threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximino Iigo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes into the game, Despiertos.F.C's Fernando Elequemedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Oriol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Club Deportivo Titan's Fidel Oriol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Elequemedo in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Titan's zone, Julian Peruanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Oriol came out of the goal and Julian Peruanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Club Deportivo Titan got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Baumer. In the 46th minute, Julian Peruanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Iigo to make the kick off. The supporters of Despiertos.F.C booed when Club Deportivo Titan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Oriol made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Julian Peruanton sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th match minute, Despiertos.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Cai to maneuver through the defense. The Despiertos.F.C fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Despiertos.F.C's Julian Peruanton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 68 minutes into the game, Fernando Elequemedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Fidel Oriol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidel Oriol was a little too slow when Edgardo Silviano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-7. Fidel Oriol came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Despiertos.F.C's Julian Peruanton. But to his dismay, Julian Peruanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. Despiertos.F.C's Julian Peruanton got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute of the match, Julian Peruanton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fidel Oriol saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edgardo Silviano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Oriol having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Peruanton in the 88th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Titan's goalkeeper Fidel Oriol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportivo Titan's Fidel Oriol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Titan from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Elequemedo got free with Fidel Oriol in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Julian Peruanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Despiertos.F.C's Gonzalo Isaio got a free kick in the 96th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Titan's goalkeeper Fidel Oriol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Elequemedo. Despiertos.F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
