But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Abascal couldn't finish the play. Honorato Lope hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mariano Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Hermelando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

In the 77th minute, Bernardino Abascal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Txema in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Sein saved Perrugorría FC from getting behind. In the 84thth minute of the game Bernardino Abascal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Santa Clara's Mariano Hermelando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Atlético Santa Clara's Mariano Hermelando got control of the ball when Rodolfo Nevada tried to sneak it across the goal line.
