When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Enzo Cambiasso sped through Winners FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiburcio Heli. After a defensive mix-up in Winners FC's zone, Jairo Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Heli came out of the goal and Jairo Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonatan Jacob hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 24 played minutes, Clemen´s For Ever's Enzo Cambiasso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiburcio Heli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clemen´s For Ever reached it. Ezequiel Ixaka charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tiburcio Heli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Jairo Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Velasco in the 48th minute of play forced Winners FC's goalkeeper Tiburcio Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Montrel to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Clemen´s For Ever's Jairo Montrel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiburcio Heli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Clemen´s For Ever booed when Winners FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Clemen´s For Ever fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Clemen´s For Ever's Ramiro Velasco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teo Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Heli having to interfere. Jairo Montrel might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Heli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Winners FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clemen´s For Ever were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
