All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Jusepe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rogelio Nabar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Laurendi couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Jairo Montrel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogelio Nabar. DEPORTIVO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Montrel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Teo Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Rogelio Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Velasco in the 73rd minute of play forced DEPORTIVO's goalkeeper Rogelio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemen´s For Ever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Nabar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Bertin in the 85th minute of the match. Rogelio Nabar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Velasco went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in DEPORTIVO's zone, Enzo Cambiasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Nabar came out of the goal and Enzo Cambiasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemen´s For Ever's Jairo Montrel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
