Sixto Johans started the match with the kick off. Eustacio Bikendi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, Venancio Sedeni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonatan Rumaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Atletico Zapiola's Jonatan Rumaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Sergi in the 11th minute of play. Jonatan Rumaldo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gilberto Cordaryal. Armando Sergi charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Sergi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atletico Zapiola booed when El Principe F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sixto Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustacio Bikendi during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cirilo Cesario struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Jonatan Rumaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Principe F.C.. After 42 minutes of play, El Principe F.C.'s Venancio Sedeni made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonatan Rumaldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Cirilo Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Rumaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Sergi hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Cesario made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Eustacio Bikendi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narcomillo Paez. That made the score 2-1 in the 55 minute of play. Venancio Sedeni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute, Armando Sergi made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Rumaldo. Club Atletico Zapiola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 72nd minute, Severino Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Fidel Bitxintxo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of El Principe F.C.'s Narcomillo Paez. Narcomillo Paez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonatan Rumaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Sergi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Rumaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Cesario in the 89th minute of play. Sixto Johans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Narcomillo Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Sergi scored 4-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Rumaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. El Principe F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atletico Zapiola for a fine match.
