In the 20th minute, Jeronimo Gaztea made a precise shot to the right of Andres Cilio. Claypole's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 37th minute, Jeronimo Gaztea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

52 minutes into the game, Anibal Pudes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Bernabe Federigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severo Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bernabe Federigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Pudes in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Federigo saved Chelco from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Cordero in the 59th minute of play forced Chelco's goalkeeper Bernabe Federigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Nalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Andres Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Claypole's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victorino Nalo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chelco's Bernabe Federigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Ugutz in the 73rd minute of play. Andres Cilio made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Donato Ferdinand sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Claypole getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Paolo Fernandes hit a great ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Claypole's goalkeeper Andres Cilio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Severo Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Ugutz in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Federigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anibal Pudes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernabe Federigo having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Pudes in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Federigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
