Rosendo Confesors short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Jacobo Aztore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Lucas Bonifaco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carmelo Bastia. Chiquibum 90X100 Prof's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Bonifaco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Rosendo Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Aztore having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Amador Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Hitz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jacobo Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Shantala in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético River Plate's zone, Rosendo Confesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Aztore came out of the goal and Rosendo Confesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Vargas came free, but Jacobo Aztore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Aztore came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chiquibum 90X100 Prof's Rosendo Confesor. But to his dismay, Rosendo Confesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rosendo Confesor made the kick off in the second half. Victoriano Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Romildo during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 74 minutes into the match, Club Atlético River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Lehen came free, but Jacobo Aztore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
