Serafin Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Enrique Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teo Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Llorian having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Enrique Montrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, JuanRomanRiquelme's Jorge Acevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Herena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. JuanRomanRiquelme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Acevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave JuanRomanRiquelme a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ruben Pero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ARRAYANES's Serafin Herena. 2-1. If Anibal Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amadeo Ritchie fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARRAYANES's protests and gave Amadeo Ritchie a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ARRAYANES getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. After some careless play in the JuanRomanRiquelme defense, Teo Dei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Llorian. The JuanRomanRiquelme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Llorian should have stopped the shot. JuanRomanRiquelme's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
