With an all-out effort, Tapa Huasi FC's Enrique Pirmin threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Kismi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Mulitas's Serafin Olayo got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Quinton in the 13th minute of play forced Tapa Huasi FC's goalkeeper Olaf Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Quinton in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olaf Jerzyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Teobaldo Bermudo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Fausto Kismi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Iruinea kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, one of Tapa Huasi FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tapa Huasi FC. In the 35th match minute, Tapa Huasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Sabin to maneuver through the defense. After 37 played minutes Mulitas got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Belarmo. 38 minutes into the match, Jacob Rits sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Enrique Pirmin threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jacob Rits this time. Aristides Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Quinton to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Mulitas defense, Fausto Kismi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Pirmin. The Mulitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Pirmin should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mulitas's Victorino Arias got a free kick in the 66th minute. Tapa Huasi FC's Jacob Rits couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mulitas. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Teobaldo Bermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapa Huasi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Bermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Pirmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teobaldo Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Serafin Olayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mulitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapa Huasi FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mulitas's Serafin Olayo got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 87 played minutes Mulitas got a freekick which was hit by Albino Pereyra. Teobaldo Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Arias hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Mulitas's Enrique Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Bermudo in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Victorino Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tapa Huasi FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
