Bella Vista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Caitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramon Elija tried in the 9th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ciriaco Abastas a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. After 16 minutes sportivo barracas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruno Gomesano who took care of the corner kick. Bruno Gomesano made a great header on Bella Vista's corner, it was just that sportivo barracas's Ciriaco Abastas managed to reach the ball for a save. Conrado Sanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filomeno Tiadoro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Victorino Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Sanson was the one to do the kick off. Ciriaco Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Sanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Caitano in the 54th minute of play forced sportivo barracas's goalkeeper Ciriaco Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Roque Caitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bella Vista fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 59 minutes into the match, Bella Vista's Roque Caitano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Abastas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Ramon Jenaro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 63rd minute, Roque Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aaron Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Conrado Sanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciriaco Abastas came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bella Vista's Roque Caitano. But to his dismay, Roque Caitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, Conrado Sanson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Abastas. sportivo barracas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Sanson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Bella Vista's Roque Caitano got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Abastas having to interfere. Roque Caitano took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciriaco Abastas. Ciriaco Abastas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Ciriaco Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Sanson in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bella Vista fully deserved thier win.
