After 2 played minutes FC Hollywood got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Bento. After having played for 8 minutes, Ariel Theobald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Theobald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Iliana hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Felix Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Pacifico having to interfere. Ceferino Beliran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arsenio Barrionuevo having to make a save. Ceferino Beliran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arsenio Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Theobald might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Pacifico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ariel Theobald ran back to his position shaking his head. Ariel Theobald scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Pacifico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Beliran to make the kick off. Ceferino Beliran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arsenio Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Lluis during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, C.A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Lluis to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Lluis in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Pacifico saved FC Hollywood from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Felix Lluis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfredo Pacifico, passed just outside the right post. When Felix Lluis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Ceferino Beliran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jimeno Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hollywood's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Orixe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, C.A. Independiente's Baldomiro Domeka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hollywood's zone, Omar Nerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Pacifico came out of the goal and Omar Nerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Bernardo Txerran might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arsenio Barrionuevo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Txerran ran back to his position shaking his head.
