Clemente Gilen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Aristides Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Gilen in the 17th minute of play. Aristides Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Garikoitz in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Whisky FC's Aquiles Javiero got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Whisky FC's zone, David Eate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clemente Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Monico having to interfere. If David Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

57 minutes into the match, Whisky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Ekain came free, but Nicanor Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match, Roberto Garikoitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aristides Monico was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aristides Monico had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Aquiles Javiero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Aristides Monico stood somewhat misplaced when Segundo Eztebe came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 98 minute. The Whisky FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Whisky FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
