With a little luck, Deportivo M&M's Aquilino Nikola got control of the ball when Rafael Llorenc tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Albano Ongile had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Cordarrell. Tobatirenda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Ongile was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ciriaco Cordarrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Jax went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Lauro in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Cordarrell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobatirenda were furious when Arsenio Izotz was red carded, 29 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Tobatirenda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo M&M:s goal. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Deportivo M&M. Albano Ongile stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ciriaco Cordarrell. 0-3. Ciriaco Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Jax in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Ongile came free, but Ciriaco Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Cordarrell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Tobatirenda players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo M&M were winning 0-4.
Damaso Lauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ciriaco Cordarrell made a huge save. Tobatirenda's Ciriaco Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Ongile in the 56th minute of play. Alonzo Sansone charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Sansone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Aaron Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Rafael Llorenc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tobatirenda and the Deportivo M&M players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Tobatirenda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Llorenc to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Elia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Damaso Lauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Cordarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damaso Lauro ran back to his position shaking his head. The Deportivo M&M supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo M&M would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
