Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Estebe took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Comunicaciones's Miguel Estebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Sanchez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eustacio Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Eustacio Romero notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Comunicaciones's Roman Dantel. Roman Dantel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute, Ruben Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Christian Marz made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Volcán's Braulio Sanchez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Honorio Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Honorio Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Atilano Petri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Eustacio Romero made the kick off in the second half. Braulio Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Marz in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Atilano Petri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Sanchez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Marz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Comunicaciones's Christian Marz in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Volcán's goalie prevented a goal. 59 minutes into the match, Volcán's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Estebe came free, but Braulio Sanchez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Estebe in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Sanchez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Miguel Estebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Sanchez was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Vinicio Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Eustacio Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volcán's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Dantel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 minutes of play, Volcán's Flavio Bilbo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Dantel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Volcán's zone, Honorio Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Sanchez came out of the goal and Honorio Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Estebe in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Sanchez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roman Dantel made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Flavio Bilbo sent off a good shot on target. Mauro Ikatz's late challenge caught a Volcán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Ikatz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Volcán booed when Comunicaciones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Ikatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Comunicaciones got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Viator. Miguel Estebe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Sanchez having to make a save. In the 89th minute Christian Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Sanchez having to interfere. Comunicaciones were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Volcán to leave the ground with a draw.
