Spectators: 6756 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 50) Sayate FC's Pascual Gartxot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Domingo Ibañez came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sayate FC's Pascual Gartxot. But to his dismay, Pascual Gartxot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pascual Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Víboras's Domingo Ibañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Gartxot in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Sayate FC's Natalio Theodore got control of the ball when Diego Mateo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Diego Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Víboras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Mateo couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the game, Víboras's Diego Mateo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natalio Theodore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Diego Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes Sayate FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Gartxot. In the 48th minute Fernan Silban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fernan Silban made the kick off in the second half. Enzo Gabirel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Ibañez having to interfere. After 63 played minutes, Víboras's Eleuterio Suarez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natalio Theodore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Víboras reached it. After 65 minutes, Raul Chabier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sayate FC and the Víboras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Sayate FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Chabier to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Eyague was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Enzo Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Sayate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Mateo came free, but Natalio Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 76 minutes, Diego Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Víboras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Mateo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Nuxila in the 83rd minute of play.
