The audience thought a goal was coming when Basilio Llin got free with Damian Aureo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pirguita AFC's Damian Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Idacio in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute Justo Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Manucho's Basilio Llin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Aureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Justo Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Idacio couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Justo Idacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Pirguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Idacio came free, but Damian Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Roman Curcio could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Damian Aureo however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justo Idacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Pirguita AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valentin Arnau who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Manucho's Esteban Crescencio to fire away a dangerous shot which Damian Aureo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 59th minute, Clemente Garci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Basilio Llin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Justo Idacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Aureo. Pirguita AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justo Idacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Justo Idacio scored 4-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Aureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damian Aureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Idacio in the 84th minute of the match. Justo Idacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Aureo having to make a save. If Justo Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Idacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Pirguita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Llin came free, but Damian Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manucho were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pirguita AFC for a fine match.
