Siambón's Raimundo Ishmael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Siambón from getting a goal against them. Damaso Baristo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siambón. Raimundo Ishmael came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenix's Nereo Pierres. But to his dismay, Nereo Pierres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 31st minute, Javier Bieito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Nereo Pierres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Luix struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Raimundo Ishmael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenix. In the 37th minute, Fenix's Nereo Pierres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 41st minute Cirilo Bitxintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Baristo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Siambón booed when Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Santikurtz. Silvano Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Bitxintxo to make the kick off. In the 63rd match minute, Siambón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Ishmael came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Fenix's Nereo Pierres. But to his dismay, Nereo Pierres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 70 minutes of play, Fenix's Nereo Pierres made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Ishmael was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Urbano Truylos came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Truylos couldn't finish the play. When Froilan Vincent fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siambón's protests and gave Froilan Vincent a yellow card for diving instead. Froilan Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Urbano Truylos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raimundo Ishmael showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Nereo Pierres sped through Siambón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Ishmael. Raimundo Ishmael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Pierres in the 92nd minute of play. Marco Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Raimundo Ishmael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
