Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5530, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nereo Pierres started the match with the kick off. Feliberto Gaskon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nereo Pierres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Green Hills were furious when Aldo Jerardo was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 8 minutes into the game, one of Green Hills:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nereo Pierres walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Nereo Pierres came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Pierres couldn't finish the play. Nereo Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Gaskon having to interfere. Marco Luix struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Feliberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenix. If Marco Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes, Nereo Pierres made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Green Hills's Feliberto Gaskon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliberto Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Luix, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Ariel Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Nereo Pierres notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Green Hills's Feliberto Gaskon. Feliberto Gaskon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nereo Pierres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Gaskon having to interfere. With a little luck, Green Hills's Feliberto Gaskon got control of the ball when Nereo Pierres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nereo Pierres hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a good free kick, Nereo Pierres got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Green Hills. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicanor Santikurtz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Santikurtz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Tono hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Nereo Pierres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Hills's Feliberto Gaskon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rosendo Paulin to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Green Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Luix came free, but Feliberto Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Green Hills booed when Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Luix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Nereo Pierres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Pierres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Truylos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Paulin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Damaso Baristo made a huge save. Nereo Pierres struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Feliberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenix. After having played for 72 minutes, Ariel Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Green Hills's Feliberto Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Pierres in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Nereo Pierres made a precise shot to the right of Feliberto Gaskon. Green Hills's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After having played for 83 minutes, Marco Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Luix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 84 minutes of play, Fenix's Nereo Pierres made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Gaskon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, Fenix's Nereo Pierres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Gaskon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When Paulo Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Shantala couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Fenix players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
